Featured within Hoosier National Forest in this northwest-looking, low-oblique photograph is Monroe Lake, the largest lake in Indiana. Hilly terrain and limestone abound in this recreational area. Bloomington is barely discernible northwest of Monroe Lake (upper right). Agricultural lands are visible in the East Fork White River plain (lower right).
